Disposable Lighters Recalled as Precaution

WASHINGTON — Certain Feudor disposable, metal-sleeved cigarette lighters are being recalled because they might flare up in use, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Monday.

The lighters being recalled were sold in three-lighter sets, but the agency said that only the metal-sleeved type contains the potential defect. It said that reports of minor facial burns and singeing of hair had been received.
