1987 Budget Figures Delayed for 2nd Time

WASHINGTON — The Treasury Department has for the second time in a week delayed release of the final fiscal 1987 budget figures, even though President Reagan has disclosed that the deficit was $148 billion.
The report originally was scheduled to come out last Thursday and was then delayed until Tuesday. Officials now say it will not be released until Wednesday.
A Treasury Department spokesman said Monday it was taking longer than expected to compile details on spending from agencies.
