Local Builder Receives Award

Evan Williams, president of Dalton Construction Co., Compton, has received the regional and national “Minority Construction Firm of the Year” award from the Minority Business Development Agency of the U. S. Department of Commerce.
Williams received his award from President Reagan at the White House last month during the national celebration of Minority Enterprise Development Week.
