Turner Broadcasting System Inc. has promoted two executives to succeed vice president and chief financial officer William C. Bevins Jr., who will remain on the board after he leaves. Bevins, however, will give up his seat on the executive committee, TBS said.
Paul D. Beckham, vice president-administration, will become senior vice president-finance and administration. The company also named Randy L. Booth, who is director of special projects, vice president-finance. The Atlanta-based cable and satellite broadcaster said the appointments would become effective upon Bevins’ departure. Bevins has indicated his intention of leaving his job “by year’s end,” the announcement said.
