Exxon Corp., the nation’s largest oil company, has named new presidents for its two major divisions. Sidney J. Reso has been appointed president of Exxon Co. International, and William D. Stevens has been named president of Exxon Co. U.S.A. The appointments are effective Jan. 1 and Jan. 31, respectively. Both men have been elected vice presidents of Exxon Corp.
Reso, 52, succeeds Richard G. Reid, who is retiring after 39 years. Reso has held a number of senior management positions.
Stevens, 53, succeeds Randall Meyer who is retiring. Stevens was executive vice president of Esso Europe before returning to the United States last year.
