Shirley Doig has been promoted to director of residential marketing communications and merchandising for the Irvine Co. Doig joined the company in 1984 and is responsible for managing the marketing efforts of residential communities in Irvine, Newport Beach, Tustin and Orange. Before that, she worked as a residential marketing consultant, and was vice president of marketing for W. R. Grace Properties in California and Arizona.
