Schools: Public schools, colleges and universities will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Mail: No delivery on Thursday.
Banks: Banks and saving institutions will close Thursday but most will reopen Friday with regular hours.
Government: City, county and state offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Federal offices will be closed Thursday; most will be open Friday. Some civic meetings have been rescheduled.
Trash Pickup: No service on Thursday. In most areas of the county, pickups normally scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays will be moved back one day. In Orange, some areas with Friday pickup will be serviced on schedule.
