William F. Glavin, a Xerox vice chairman and a member of the company’s four-member corporate office, will take early retirement June 1 to accept the presidency of Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. Glavin, 57, also will not stand for reelection to the board of directors of Xerox at the company’s annual meeting in May. He will not be replaced either as vice chairman or as a member of the corporate office.
Glavin will become head of Babson, an independent, coeducational business school, July 1.
