Katharine Graham, chairman of the Washington Post Co., has accepted an invitation to become an independent trustee of Reuters Founders Share Co. The company, which operates the Reuters news agency, will have 14 trustees as of May 2, when Graham’s appointment becomes effective. Ten of the trustees are appointed by newspaper associations in Britain, Australia and New Zealand, and the other four are independent.
