READER REMEMBERS ‘NELSON’
Regarding Paul Dean’s review of “Lord Nelson: The Immortal Memory” (Book Review, March 12):
He says that Nelson’s exploits have become well known through “every form of public record, in fact, save a ‘Masterpiece Theater’ miniseries.”
Obviously Dean does not remember “I Remember Nelson,” a four-part series that aired on “Masterpiece Theater” in February-March, 1982. It told Nelson’s story through the eyes of four people, and Kenneth Colley portrayed Nelson.
I remember “I Remember Nelson” as being pretty boring!
Just wanted to set the record straight.
