. . . A source tells us that People mag just shelled out a record $20,000 for the rights to Tai Babilonia’s first-person story, featured on the cover of the just-out April 17 edition. Titled “On Thin Ice,” the six-page article details the former ice-skating queen’s experiences with “drugs, alcohol, dead-end affairs and eventually a suicide attempt.” Look for further developments: Tai’s got a book deal in the works.
