A 2-day, Anaheim-to-San Diego bike ride will be held beginning Saturday as a fund-raiser for a Yorba Linda resident who was critically hurt Jan. 15 when the Jeep in which he was a passenger was struck by a drunk driver. Called “Bikin’ for Blaise,” the bike ride is to raise money for Blaise Evers, 38, a 1968 Servite High graduate and football player who was an All-County and All-California Interscholastic Federation player. Evers, who was in a coma for several weeks, is rehabilitating at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey.
