Starting at 6 a.m. today, CBS, NBC and ABC will air live coverage of memorial services in Norfolk, Va., for the 47 Navy men killed Wednesday in a gun-turret explosion aboard the U.S. battleship Iowa. The CBS coverage, anchored by Dan Rather in New York, will last an hour. The two other networks are not certain how long they will stay with live coverage. NBC plans to extend the “Today” show for reports on the service. Peter Jennings in New York will anchor the ABC coverage.
