USD Women Second in Conference Tennis

SAN DIEGO — The University of San Diego women’s tennis team finished second Sunday at the West Coast Athletic Conference championship tournament at USD with 48 points. Pepperdine (58 points) was first and St. Mary’s (29 points) third.
Pepperdine’s Ginger Helgeson and Camilla Ohrman defeated USD’s Jennifer Larking and Aby Brayton in the semifinals of the main-draw doubles, 2-6, 6-2, 6-1.
