Jeff Davis, boys’ cross-country and track coach at Santa Ana High School for four years, has been named to a similar position at Century High in Santa Ana.
Davis’ cross-country team was ranked ninth in the state last fall and won the Century League title. Davis, who teaches reading and physical education, was named teacher of the year at Santa Ana in 1987-88. He was cross-country coach of the year in the Century League in ’88.
Century will open in the fall with 1,000 freshmen and sophomores. Davis becomes the fifth Santa Ana coach to move to Century.
