Conoco Joint Venture to Build Gas Plant

HOUSTON — Conoco Inc. agreed to take part in a joint venture to build and operate a natural gas processing plant in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The joint venture group--Phoenix Park Gas Processing Ltd.--includes the National Gas Company of Trinidad & Tobago, Pan West Engineers and Constructors Inc. and Conoco.
The plant, which will process up to 650 million cubic feet of natural gas a day, will cost about $95 million to build and bring on stream, Conoco said.
