Workers Cleaning Vacant House Find Body

Workers cleaning out a vacant house in Llano, a rural community east of Palmdale, discovered the body of a 43-year-old man beneath a pile of trash, officials said Saturday. The man, who had been shot twice, was found Friday along a remote stretch of Avenue S-8 between 172nd Street East and 175th Street East, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Hal Grant said.
The victim’s name was being withheld Saturday pending notification of his family, deputies said.
