Bond’s Mansion on the Block: A “for sale” sign went up outside Alan Bond’s Sydney waterfront mansion as receivers took over at his Australian breweries. Meanwhile, the debt-laden entrepreneur continued a court battle to dislodge the receivers. Real estate agents estimate that the 40-room Gladswood House will fetch $6 million ($8 million Australian) when it is auctioned next month. Bond’s flagship Bond Corp. Holdings bought the house for $3 million four years ago.
