A second series of meetings with residents of neighborhoods surrounding parks will be held Saturday by the Department of Parks and Recreation.
City officials will conduct a forum at four park sites to receive public views on how city parks are run, said Wayne Lowery, parks and recreation director.
Residents are being asked to share ideas on changes to park services and equipment as well as recreation programs. Parks and recreation commissioners will be on hand to listen to neighborhood concerns and interests.
Topics to be discussed include new play equipment, picnic shelters, security lighting and landscaping.
The meetings will be at 11 a.m. in Cordova Park, 1 p.m. in Granada Park, 3 p.m. in Linda Vista Park and 5 p.m. in Madrid Fore Park.
