Malibu : Trimming of Trees Funded

Los Angeles County will spend $85,980 to trim or top about 900 trees on public ways in the Malibu area starting in February, Supervisor Deane Dana said.
Dana described the work as an “ongoing safety project” aimed at reducing the risk of branches falling on pedestrians and vehicles, especially during high winds. The work is expected to be finished in April. No road closures or traffic restrictions are anticipated, he said.
