The Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team reversed its fortunes Thursday night, defeating Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 68-65, in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. opener at Cal Poly.
Northridge (4-12) was led by center Sandi Olson, who scored 15 points, and forward Denna Mulverhill, who added 11.
Jody Hasselfield led Cal Poly (6-9, 0-1) with a game-high 33 points.
The score was tied at halftime, 29-29.
