MD-88 Aircraft Leases

SAN FRANCISCO — Polaris Aircraft Leasing Corp. said it has leased 10 McDonnell Douglas MD-88 aircraft to Aerovias de Mexico for $300 million.
The company said it delivered four aircraft to Aerovias in late 1989 and plans to deliver four more in 1990 and two in 1991. All 10 MD-88s will be on 10-year operating leases to the carrier.
GE Capital has an 81% stake in Polaris.
