Two El Cajon residents were arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale, police said. A 2-year-old boy at the apartment was turned over to Hillcrest Receiving Home.
Richard Eugene Rheuby, 33, and Tamara Elaine Hicks, 31, were found at 9 a.m. at an apartment at 919 Leslie Road, El Cajon, police said.
The arrests were made by detectives who executed a search warrant for Rheuby, an unemployed carpenter who was also charged with parole violations linked to a previous drug-related arrest, police said. A third person at the apartment was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana.
Police confiscated about 2 grams of methamphetamine and 3 grams of marijuana.
