Disney Employees and Beards
Some employers have the audacity, arrogance and gall to establish a dress code that prohibits male employees from wearing beards or a mustache. This is a flagrant example of the denial of personal freedom.
Yes, I too can understand the importance of being well-groomed. But denying an employee the right to grow a beard or mustache is simply ridiculous and discriminatory. We all know that a face “with” or “without” facial hair has no relevance to job performance and capabilities. I feel pugnacious. I suggest that businesses that institute outrageous dress codes that disrespect and deny the personal freedom of male employees should be boycotted. Men should not support businesses where facial hair is dishonored.
Where will it all end? What’s next? Perhaps the next victims will be men who have thinning or receding hairlines.
