NEW YORK — Judy Woodruff, who has anchored PBS’ “Frontline” for six years, is leaving the Boston-based documentary series in June to spend more time with her family and the “MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour.”
Woodruff lives in Washington, D.C., where she is chief Washington correspondent for “NewsHour.” Her decision to leave “Frontline” was announced by the program last weekend.
David Fanning, the program’s executive producer, issued a statement saying no decision had been made on whether Woodruff will be succeeded by another anchor.
