Los Angeles firefighters took more than an hour to put out a fire that erupted early Sunday in a seven-story office building near Universal City.
No injuries were reported, but the fire caused $500,000 damage to the building and contents at 3575 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Greg Acevedo said. About 50 firefighters battled the fire, which broke out at 2:41 a.m. in a fifth-floor office.
Acevedo said the cause was under investigation.
