Phoenix Group Names Netcom Executive as President

Alan J. Mattal has been appointed president of the Phoenix Group International.
He will continue as chief executive and chairman of Netcom Research Inc., a Phoenix Group subsidiary.
Mattal’s background includes positions with Semiconductor Specialists, Fairchild Semiconductor, MOS Technology, Silicon General, Hamilton Avnet and Western Digital Corp.
The Phoenix Group, headquartered in Irvine, specializes in developing emerging technology companies.
