Aztec Women Lose by 19 to Fullerton

Julie Evans scored 26 points for the San Diego State women, but the Aztecs still lost at Cal State Fullerton, 61-42, Monday night in a Big West Conference game.
Crystal Lee added eight assists for the Aztecs (3-15, 2-5).
Genia Miller had 26 points and 14 rebounds for Fullerton.
It was the second consecutive victory for the Titans (8-9 overall, 3-5 in conference) after a five-game losing streak.
Heidi James added a career-high 14 points and Jill Matyuch had nine points, seven rebounds and seven steals for Fullerton, which led, 35-24, at the half.
LUNCHEON
Brian Sipe, a former San Diego State and Cleveland Browns star quarterback, will be the master of ceremonies for the 13th Brotherhood Luncheon today (noon) at the San Dieguito Boys & Girls Club.
The theme of the luncheon is “A Salute to Youth Excellence.” Jim Brandenburg, San Diego State’s basketball coach and Bill Walton, a former UCLA and NBA great, are also on the guest list.
