COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titan Women Win Second in a Row

Genia Miller had 26 points and 14 rebounds as Cal State Fullerton defeated San Diego State, 61-42, Monday night in a Big West Conference women’s basketball game at Fullerton.
It was the second consecutive victory for the Titans (8-9 overall, 3-5 in conference) after a five-game losing streak.
Heidi James added a career-high 14 points and Jill Matyuch had nine points, seven rebounds and seven steals for Fullerton, which led, 35-24, at the half.
Julie Evans had 26 points and Crystal Lee had eight assists for the Aztecs (3-15, 2-5).
In nonconference wrestling:
Cal State Fullerton 18, Kent State 16--Heavyweight David Jones, ranked 10th in the nation, defeated Jeff Datkuliak, 8-5, to lead the visiting Titans (6-8) past Kent State (8-2). Jeff Maes (126 pounds), Al Re and Dan Henderson also won decisions for Fullerton.
In Western Christian Athletic Conference men’s basketball:
Pacific Christian College 152, Arizona College of the Bible 51--Brian Kaiser had 27 points and 10 assists and Mike Vincent had 26 points and six steals for PCC in Phoenix. PCC (14-8, 7-0) led, 83-23, at the half.
