HOUSE CALL: It happened Tuesday night on TV’s “thirty-something.” . . . The episode was about a woman who has ovarian cancer. Her husband knew just where to look for expertise--even if he needed two tries to get the expert’s name right. . . . On the phone to several bookstores he asked for a study by Dr. Philip DiSaia of the UCI Medical Center, co-author of the standard work on the subject. . . . “I get many different pronunciations of his name,” says DiSaia’s secretary Jan Everett. For the record, it’s pronounced “ de SIGH ah .”
