A 30-year-old Lancaster man was shot and killed in front of a restaurant, and investigators were looking for two suspects, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Friday.
The victim, whose identity was not released until his family could be located, was killed at 9:20 p.m. Thursday in front of Seven Brothers restaurant in the 4200 block of Sierra Highway, Deputy Roger Hom said. The motive for the slaying was unknown.
“We don’t know what caused the shooting or what the relationship was between the victim and the suspects,” Hom said.
Deputies were looking for two men believed to be in their early 20s who fled from the shooting in a 1967 or 1968 Plymouth Barracuda that was yellow with a black vinyl top.
