COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Christ College Irvine Wins in Basketball

Kevin Kurz and Keith Rogers had 20 points each to lead Christ College Irvine to an 87-83 victory over Point Loma Nazarene in a Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Friday at Irvine.

Christ College Irvine is 11-13 overall, 3-2 in conference play. Point Loma led, 46-42, at the half.

At the Arizona women’s gymnastics invitational, Cal State Fullerton finished third with a score of 186.75. Georgia (188.25) won and host Arizona (187.40) was second.

Fullerton’s Heather Thomas won the all-around with a score of 38.10. Fullerton is 1-9 overall and 0-2 in the Pacific 10 Conference.
