CAMP PENDLETON

I applaud Tom Gorman for his informative and fascinating article about the Marines and Camp Pendleton, “The Pendleton Preserve” (Dec. 10).

I am very pleased that the U.S. government and the Marines care what happens to the land, the sea, the sky and some endangered species. At this rate, if glasnost and peace break out all over the world the Marines will join the list of endangered species. Bravo!
