Robber Takes $1,200 at Beach Blvd. Bank

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police are searching for a woman who robbed a branch of the Union Bank on Friday and escaped with $1,200 in cash.
The robbery occurred shortly after noon, when the woman entered the bank on the 17000 block of Beach Boulevard and demanded money from a teller at gunpoint, police said.
The teller handed over $1,200, and the robber fled. She was seen getting into a tan Ford sedan driven by a man.
Police said the robber was 24 to 30 years old, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighed about 145 pounds. She had long brown hair and was wearing a dark blue shirt and pants, police said.
