Dov Alexander Scarf, a 38-year-old Israeli conductor, will lead the Capistrano Valley Symphony Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point, replacing founding music director Donn Laurence Mills, who died earlier this month.
