Driver Flees After Killing Boy, 10

A 10-year-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Chatsworth Monday evening, Los Angeles police said.
Sgt. Gilbert Rendon said the boy, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was struck by a pickup truck as he crossed the intersection of Nordhoff Street and Winnetka Avenue at about 6:25 p.m.
