United Artists Entertainment Co.: The Denver-based cable-TV and theater concern reported a first-quarter loss of $36.4 million, largely because of interest and other expenses associated with last year’s merger of United Artists Communications and United Cable Television to form the new entity, the company said. Revenue was $334.5 million. The company did not release year-ago figures, saying they are not comparable.
