Two suspected gang members were arrested Friday in connection with last weekend’s drive-by shooting death of a 19-year-old Anaheim motorist, police said.
Victor Hernandez was fatally shot in the head as he neared the intersection of Melrose Street and Orangethorpe Avenue, Placentia Police Sgt. Russ Rice said.
Police said another vehicle drove up alongside of Hernandez’s pickup truck and fired four to seven shots from a handgun, authorities said.
Arrested on charges of suspicion of murder were Angel Rangel and Ernest Silva, both 18, of Placentia, Rice said. They were taken to Orange County Jail.
