Water Usage in Washing Cars

Wash your car with 3-4 gallons of water, rather than the 15-18 gallons of water required by the recycling carwashes. Do it by using the common garden-variety “fogger” found at your neighborhood nursery. It works! Just attach it to the end of a garden hose.
