COMPTON GAMES: The U.S. Postal Service will apply pictorial postmarks to letters or other memorabilia brought to the Compton Games. The track and field games will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday featuring elementary through college students competing in Tartar Stadium at Compton College, 1111 E. Artesia Blvd. A stamp dedication ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m., marking the second day of issue for a new stamp series honoring Jesse Owens and four other Olympians.
