On This One, Little League Was Strictly Bush League

Denying a Little League player the right to receive his championship uniform because he was injured and unable to play through no fault of his own (Morning Briefing, Aug. 3) seems to be the ultimate cruelty. Maybe the rest of the team should return their uniforms in protest.
It is too bad that Channel 2 commentator Bill Stout passed away recently. I have no doubt whatsoever as to whom his July 1990 “Turkey of the Month” would be awarded.
