In one of the print ads for “Young Guns II,” you’ll notice that although the six guys are all staring menacingly into the camera’s eye, their guns are haphazardly aimed in various directions.
Alan Ruck and the rifle guy are pretty much dead on. However, Kiefer Sutherland is low and to the right, Lou Diamond is high and left, while the star of our show, Emilio Estevez (with two guns), is all over the place.
Perhaps this is a crucial scene--maybe they’re up against a gang of bad guys (most likely midgets from the perspective), or perhaps they’re aiming at the producers of the film standing just off screen. After all, there are seven people in the ad identified as producers, executive producers or co-executive producers.
