FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Work Sites Announced

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Eastbound ramps; Pioneer Boulevard on-ramp and Norwalk Boulevard off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; landscaping.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

2. Carson: Southbound No. 4 lane; Del Amo Boulevard to 223rd Street, Torrance Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp, Carson Street off-ramp, 233rd Street off-ramp; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

3. Carson: Southbound No. 4 lane; Sepulveda Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway, Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp and Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp; today and Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

4. San Pedro: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Harbor Boulevard to northbound Terminal Island Freeway (103), and Ferry Street off-ramp; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

LAKEWOOD BOULEVARD (19)

5. Bellflower/Lakewood: Northbound and southbound alternating lanes; between Compton and Artesia boulevards; Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; stenciling.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

6. Bell Gardens: Northbound No. 4 lane; Florence Avenue to Slauson Avenue; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; drain cleaning.

7. Commerce: Northbound No. 4 lane; Gage Avenue to Slauson Avenue; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; drain cleaning.

8. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lane; Santa Ana Freeway (5) interchange to Los Angeles River; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

9. Industry: Eastbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes; northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) connector to Crossroads Parkway; today, 5:30 to 11 a.m.; mudjacking.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

10. Long Beach: Southbound connectors; southbound San Diego Freeway (405) connector lane No. 1 to northbound Long Beach Freeway (710); Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

11. Pico Rivera: Northbound No. 1 lane; Beverly Boulevard to Peck Road; Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

12. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane; Ditman Avenue on-ramp to southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) at Triggs Street and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

13. Norwalk: Northbound ramps; Norwalk Boulevard on-ramp, Imperial Highway off-ramp; Monday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; sign repair.
