Synchronized Signals
I wish county and city traffic engineers would consider adjusting traffic signals to the flow of traffic. Motorists are caught in a Catch-22 situation. They escape the gridlock on the freeway by using side roads. However, this is made frustrating by having to stop and wait at every traffic signal, some only a few blocks apart. A series of coordinated traffic signals would reduce travel time and serve as a viable alternative to freeway traveling.
