BIG RIGS

While the light vein of “Big Wheels” is entertaining, it does a disservice to a public already saturated with radio, TV and newspaper reports of people delayed on the freeways, arriving late for work or eating dinner cold. What they should be concerned with is the possibility they may not arrive at all, as was the case with our 27-year-old son. He was killed coming home from work by a speeding 18-wheeler that jackknifed on the 210. The newspaper headline: “Traffic Backed Up for 8 Hours”!
Spilled oranges, fish oil, traffic delay, time lost? What about lives lost?
