SCHOOL REPORT : Snow Kept Schools Shut

In San Diego County, where the temperature averages 70 degrees and most students start back to school wearing shorts and T-shirts, five North County school districts took off a total of 16 days for snow-related problems last year. The closures were made up by adding days at the end of the school year.
