Furious Finns Break Up Pro-Iraqi Demonstration

HELSINKI, Finland — Furious Finns broke up a small pro-Iraqi demonstration outside Helsinki’s presidential palace during the superpower summit Sunday, police said.
Half a dozen demonstrators unfurled a banner outside the palace where President Bush and Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev were discussing the gulf crisis. The banner was torn down and thrown away by members of the crowd of about 1,000, police said.
