Former President Ronald Reagan left Los Angeles by plane today for Berlin on his way to meet European leaders and address the Soviet Parliament.
Reagan, 79, who is accompanied by his wife, Nancy, will meet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev and Polish, East and West German and Italian leaders during his 10-day visit to Europe.
It is his most wide-ranging journey since he left the White House in January, 1989.
