Willie Sutton notwithstanding, Orange County thieves have not found banks to be particularly lucrative nor inviting source of income during the last five years, to judge by the total robbery picture. The amount of money has never been more than 15% of the total robbery take in the county, and the number of bank jobs is heading downward. Here’s a look at the trend and what part of all robbery losses are from banks.
