NAUGHTY OR NICE? You’ll be able to judge whether artist Jim Morphesis’ painting of a nude male with wings was too nude for a John Wayne Airport commemorative poster. . . . The Icarus-themed painting was squelched by Airport Commissioner Robert Cashman, but the Laguna Art Museum will announce today that it will display the painting. Also rallying to support the painting is the Long Beach/Orange County Coalition for Freedom of Expression, which complained that Cashman is “reactionary” and “undersold the citizens of Orange County and insulted a nationally recognized artist.”
